- An excellent backpacking gear is needed
for every outdoor trip,
not too
heavy, not too big and with a suitable
frame to make it stabile and don’t get your
back hurt after a while, just right to carry
a basic necessary part of your world with
you. One parameter when choosing the right
backpack is don’t buy cheap backpacking
gear, even if the backpack looks nice and
somehow professional, the real thing behind
is, you will only see when its to late,
means when the backpacking gear brakes and
to avoid that buy a quality backpack even if
you spend some money more its worth it.
There is a
large variety of backpacking gear
available and you should always consider the
lightest suitable not need to a real
expensive ultra-lightweight and/or highly
fashionable, that makes the gear expensive
for nothing since in general today
backpacking gear is lightweight anyway, the
weight comes with the content, since you
probably wont climb the Mount Everest where
every gram somehow counts take it easy, also
don’t buy it to big, because the bigger the
more stuff you will in and after you feel
the kilos on your back.
The right
backpack hangs comfortably on your
shoulders and is stabile on your back to
comfortable carrying your load on long and
short trips. When you select your hiking
backpacking gear or maybe a little tougher
one for trekking trips take some stuff with
you to the shop you normally use on outdoor
trips and fill the backpack up with it, just
do this in the shop where you buy the bag
and give it a try. You immediately feel if
the backpack is comfortable and if the load
distribution is ok by not giving you a spine
problem. When buying your backpack the
priority is to feel comfortable with it and
as indicated above stay away from the cheap
backpacking gear, trust me, I tried many of
this stuff, after around 3 trips the check
stuff is ready for the trash. |
